Name: Clowny AKA: Whitey Whitey was adopted from the Calgary Humane Society in 1996. He was about 1 year old at the time. He has had an autoimmune disease ever since, and has had his share of medication. However, with the pills and the loving care he has had, he is still going strong at 12 years of age. His highlight vacation was a road trip to Saskatoon to check out the Veterinary College at the University of Saskatchewan in 1999. Although he didn't get accepted as a student, the budding vets did check him out and were quite interested in his situation. However, they didn't have any further insights, so he has continued with the same treatment as before. He is a very timid cat and certainly not a lap cat. However he is very gentle and doesn't cause any problems. Whitey passed away September, 2007 due to complications from a tumour.
